VOTe for a Better District 196
Over the past decade, student achievement in math, science, and reading has declined dramatically in our district, despite increased spending per pupil and continued funding from taxpayers. Meanwhile, our community has seen less transparency and accountability from the current board leadership.
It's time to return to a focus on student success and rebuilding trust with the parents and stakeholders in District 196. That's why I'm running for our school board — focused on safety, integrity, accountability, and academic excellence, I will be a strong advocate for students, parents, and teachers.

Vote Early in person
Early in-person voting will be offered Friday, Oct. 20 through Monday, Nov. 6, each business day at the three Dakota County government centers. When using early voting, voters complete an absentee ballot application but are then able to cast a ballot and feed it directly into the voting machine at the county.

election day voting
The 2023 School Board Election will take place Tuesday, November 7. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Vote Early by Absentee
From Sept. 22 through Nov. 6, voters can cast their ballot ahead of Election Day through the absentee balloting process. Registered voters do not need a reason to vote by absentee ballot.

*Due to concurrent city elections, absentee voting at the District Office is not available for residents of Apple Valley or Rosemount.
If voting absentee at one of these locations, the voter can submit their absentee ballot application and their voted ballot all in one stop.
To absentee vote by mail, voters may download an absentee ballot application form and mail the completed application as directed in the application materials. Once an application is received and processed, an absentee ballot will be mailed to the voter along with instructions for completing and returning their ballot in the postage-paid envelope that is provided with the ballot.
