“I wholeheartedly recommend Kim Bauer as a candidate for the ISD 196 school board. I have known Kim for many years as a close neighbor and friend. Kim listens to all sides and weighs them fairly, genuinely seeking to understand the position of others. She has shown herself to be kind, caring and patient in her interactions with others. I have seen this firsthand on many occasions as she is a trustworthy caregiver for my children. Kim has my support for the school board — she will bring leadership, focus and problem-solving skills that will greatly benefit our district.”

“As a mother of two daughters who have and are currently attending school in District 196, I feel having a voice on the school board that is looking out for our children, not only regarding their education, but their safety as well is so important. Kim will do that for our children. She listens to others with genuine concern. Her kind heart comes from being an involved parent and an amazing mom. She understands what parents are going through in and out of the classroom. Kim’s leadership and dedication to continually improving District 196 is why I highly recommend her for this role, and I know she will be a fantastic addition to the ISD 196 board.”

"I got to know Kim in 2017 at the YMCA when we had a coffee time together. She was so friendly and caring toward me when I met her. When we would meet, she always demonstrated genuine interest and kindness towards me and everyone she met. She was always attentive to safety concerns for the kids and made this a priority. Kim is passionate, thoughtful, and very giving. When I became an American citizen, my first vote was for her school board candidacy in 2021. I enthusiastically endorse Kim for the ISD 196 school board. She’ll be an excellent addition to the board and will work hard to prioritize a focus on math, science, and literacy skills to improve outcomes for all students and make sure that the district works in good faith to be transparent in their decisions and inclusive of parental input."
